David Hoff is the Chief Executive Officer & original founding member of First Heartland^®.

David received his Bachelors in Business from the University of Missouri at St. Louis in 1979. Immediately after graduation, David entered the life insurance industry as a career agent with Home Life of New York. He earned his CLU^® (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation in 1982, and his ChFC^® (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation in 1983.

In 1982, David incorporated his personal insurance practice into First Heartland^® Corporation. In 1984, David and his former partner, started marketing nationally to independent life insurance agents. In 1993, They started First Heartland^® Capital, Inc. and First Heartland^® Consultants, Inc., which are a full service retail broker dealer and registered investment advisory firm respectively. David is currently the president and sole owner of all three entities.

David lives in Lake St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Carol. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and his seven grandchildren.
